Key Role: Business Leader

We're seeking an experienced Business Leader to drive our Environmental Services business forward in Queensland. Our group of passionate experts tackle complex ecological challenges, environmental approvals, impact assessments and risk management.

As a Business Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping operations within one of Australia's leading Environment businesses. Backed by a collaborative national network, you'll help expand our client base and strengthen existing relationships.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Develop strategic plans for revenue growth and organisational goals in the Queensland business.
  • Lead project delivery and team performance to achieve excellence in resourcing, utilisation and margin management.
  • Inspire your team with clear direction and purpose.
  • Responsible for winning work and achieving net revenue targets with support from leaders and staff.
  • Foster collaboration across Business Centres to consistently win new work with clients.
  • Champion a high-performance culture focused on talent, productivity and financial performance.
  • Drive quality and timely delivery of projects that exceed client expectations.
  • Build strong client relationships, lead major projects and drive strategic pursuits.

Requirements for Success:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Ecology, Environmental Science or Engineering.
  • 15 years of senior-level experience in environmental services.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to build high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and significant project delivery experience.
  • Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
