About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Rehab Consultant in Brisbane. As a key member of our national occupational rehabilitation provider, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality customer service and innovative health and work solutions.

Job Summary:

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to take on a Rehab Consultant position with a leading provider of occupational rehabilitation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and participating in rehabilitative programs to achieve positive return-to-work outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Caseload Management: Manage a caseload of injured clients and develop workplace-based rehabilitation programs to achieve positive return-to-work outcomes.
  • Assessments and Evaluations: Conduct Initial and Worksite Assessments, Home Assessments, and provide Rehabilitation counseling.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Complete and maintain necessary records and prepare reports detailing client progress.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise and work in consultation with referring agency staff, injured workers, employers, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Outstanding communication and networking skills.
  • The ability to self-motivate and self-manage workload.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Report writing skills.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle.
  • Eligibility to work permanently in Australia.
