Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Carry out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and improve overall site efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and fault-find problems or deviations in processes, or with machinery, and implement solutions to resolve issues.
- Breakdown Response: Respond to breakdown situations to repair plant equipment as requested by the relevant Manager/Supervisor.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, logs, and systems to track repairs, notifications, and activities.
- Trade Qualification: Recognised Trade Qualification in Fitting, Turning, and Machining.
- Independence and Decision-Making: Ability to work independently and make decisions during emergency or breakdown situations.
- Upgrade Advice: Ability to advise on upgrade work to improve equipment performance.
- Manufacturing Experience: Experience working in a large manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Forklift Licence: Forklift licence is desirable.
- Health, Safety, and Environment: Strong understanding and commitment to health, safety, and environmental practices.
