We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer to join our Two-Wheeler and Powersports department. This is a 2-year maximum-term, full-time role based at our headquarters in Clayton, Melbourne, with occasional international and domestic travel.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop software solutions for cross-domain systems, ensuring customer and business needs are met.
- Elicit system and software requirements to create feasible designs, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement software solutions on innovative end-to-end software systems, leveraging expertise in AUTOSAR Classic BSW/SWC development.
- Identify and correct errors in system behavior through methodical problem-solving, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Communicate with and support internal and external customers for project delivery, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain project documentation in accordance with internal processes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- An Engineering Degree in Software, Mechatronics, Electrical, or equivalent qualification.
- AUTOSAR Classic BSW/SWC development experience is a must.
- Knowledge of automotive networks & protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, ISO-TP) is advantageous.
- Experience using Vector Davinci Tools.
- Hands-on experience with development of embedded systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tools.
- Experience working with complex Multi-core Systems.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and number theory.
- Build and maintain relationships with international stakeholders.
- Experience with C++, Python, Matlab/Simulink, or ROS would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of IOT protocols (MQTT, TLS, HTTP).
- Knowledge of web page development (HTML5 / JavaScript) would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Functional Safety Freedom-From-Interference mechanisms.
- Familiarity with security concepts for embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Linux OS &/or development.
- The ability to work flexibly.
