Tissot, a leading Swiss watchmaker, is seeking a skilled Boutique Technician to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical assistance to our clients, ensuring their timepieces are in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to clients, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Register services, clearly identifying service needs and facilitating pre-authorization and watch imagery.
  • Escalate issues as needed, collaborating with our service center for coordination of services.
  • Conduct warranty interventions, including battery exchanges, repair of bracelets, and case cleaning using ultrasonic and steam cleaners.
  • Perform partial disassembly and assembly of mechanical and quartz movements.
  • Conduct quality control checks on watches returned from the service center.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ordering consumables as needed.
  • Daily reconcile and report on customer service activities.
  • Receive and register incoming parcels.
  • Conduct weekly stock takes.
  • Sell watches when needed, demonstrating complete knowledge of our product lines.
  • Understand watch technology, including movements, calibres, and explanations to clients as needed.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Technical aptitude, with the ability to follow technical instructions and guides.
  • Dexterity and ability to work with tools.
  • Collaborate with the team to exchange ideas and initiatives.
  • Time and priority management skills.
  • Compliant with operating procedures and protocol.
  • Ability to judge costs and benefits of possible actions.
  • Decisive, firm, courteous, customer-oriented, and able to handle stress.
  • A work ethic that understands the importance of going above and beyond to satisfy clients and exceed their expectations.
  • Provide personalized service, offering special services to clients based on their needs.
