Job Summary

UGL is seeking an experienced Mechanical Workpack Engineer to join our team in Perth. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining Mechanical Workpacks for an LNG facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with approved procedures and documentation for all Work Packs
  • Maintain project Work Pack numbering convention
  • Develop and upload Work Pack documents into project scope and document management systems
  • Generate and maintain Work Pack documents in project control systems and develop content as required
  • Liaise with Client/Site teams to resolve SQs and expedite reviews
  • Manage and communicate changes to Work Packs using approved procedures
  • Communicate Work Pack requirements to Lead Workpack Engineer and Project Engineer
  • Participate in Work pack development reviews and furnish documentation to support these reviews
  • Report progress of Work Pack development using project control systems

Requirements

  • Engineering or trade qualification relevant to Coatings, Insulation, Mechanical or Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines
  • Demonstrated industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience in development and management of Work Pack / Job Card delivery
  • Sound knowledge of industry and best-practice standards and their relevance to the sites engineering activities
  • Leading edge knowledge and expertise of construction practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to the project engineering activities
  • Experience working within a multi-cultural workforce is preferred
  • Relevant experience in an industrial services organisation facilitating engineering controls
  • Reliable, dependable, responsible, flexible, an excellent communicator, strong leadership and seasoned people management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines consistently
  • Seasoned communication & coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high functioning team
