Transform Lives through Aged Care Careers

Ternary is a renowned organisation in the aged care sector, seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Trainee AIN. This comprehensive 24-month traineeship will provide you with hands-on experience in Residential Aged Care while enabling you to pursue your Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021).

No previous experience or qualifications are required, as we offer thorough on-the-job training. You will work collaboratively with our experienced team in Coffs Harbour, delivering outstanding care to our elderly residents.

This part-time position guarantees a minimum of 15 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 35 hours, and a fixed 24-month contract with agreed-upon shifts. Upon completing your qualification, you will be eligible for a higher wage.

You will be paired with a dedicated workplace Buddy/Mentor who will guide you throughout your career development. Additionally, you will have access to our Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, Registered Training Organisation, and Ternary's resources.

Key Competencies:
  • Desire to contribute positively to society
  • High level of reliability and responsibility
  • Ability to undergo a National Police Check (Ternary will facilitate this process)
  • Must hold valid Australian work authorisation and reside in the country
  • Availability to work AM shift 6:30am to 2:30pm, PM 2:00pm to 9:00pm, and attend training sessions 9:00am to 4:00pm
Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of exceptional personal care services
  • Execution of housekeeping duties
