Petbarn, a leading pet specialty retailer, has a strong presence in Australia and New Zealand with over 220 locations. For over 30 years, customers have come to Petbarn for exceptional products, outstanding service, and expert advice. We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Sales Assistants on a casual basis.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- High levels of motivation and a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.
- Integrity and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of customer service.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers at all levels.
- Composure under pressure and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong determination to succeed and achieve sales targets.
- An eye for detail and a hands-on approach to sales and customer service.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a high-volume, disciplined retail environment.
- Strong merchandising skills and the ability to effectively promote products to customers.
- A commitment to the care and well-being of pets.
The successful candidate will be reliable, determined to meet high standards, and willing to work flexible hours, including weekends. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
As a Sales Assistant, you may be required to lift heavy items, such as bags of dog food. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with pets and their owners, and who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
