About the Role

The General Manager, Support at Home is a key leadership position responsible for the transition of the Home Care business to Support at Home. This role requires a strong commercial background and the ability to grow services in a sustainable and responsible way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a modern and contemporary service in the context of Support at Home.
  • Create and execute an approach to the provision of Support at Home that positively transforms the experience of our consumers and employees.
  • Identify and create opportunities to grow the Support at Home business to maximise our reach and impact in line with our growth strategy while delivering financially sustainable results.
  • Develop key performance indicators and targets that enable the Support at Home leadership team to deliver the commitments made in strategic, operational, team, and individual performance plans.
  • Develop and implement workforce planning processes that optimise the deployment of labour balancing consumer and employee needs.
  • Ensure the business unit is compliant with all relevant regulation and take steps to review and monitor compliance.
About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial background in a related sector with demonstrable ability to grow services in a sustainable and responsible way. To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • An understanding of quality and compliance requirements and demonstrates ability to monitor and remediate risks to compliance.
  • Proven management experience at a senior operational leadership level.
  • Workforce planning and optimisation experience.
  • Strong leadership and motivational ability that grows and develops talent.
  • Experience of managing remote and isolated teams and individuals.
  • Hold a satisfactory NDIS workers screen check.
