About This Position:
- This role will oversee the provision of critical capability resources for delivering training services and instructional systems development across various teams.
This position plays a pivotal part in shaping, delivering, and evolving CAE's training solutions across Defence programs, focusing on operational readiness and national capability objectives.
- Lead the development, innovation, review, and refinement of training content and delivery strategies.
- Create and implement a training workforce plan to enhance performance.
- Develop and deliver professional development and training programs for new products, processes, and applications.
- Provide subject matter expertise to support bids and proposals of similar capabilities across the region/business.
- Act as Accountable Manager for the CAE RTO.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary degree in ISD/Learning Design, training, or related fields.
- Proven experience in leading teams, with expertise in instructional design and courseware development for defence-related projects.
- Technical background in end-to-end training and courseware development.
- Strong leadership experience in developing people capabilities.
Work Arrangements and Location
- Available in Homebush, NSW or Brisbane, QLD.
- We operate a flexible working approach that balances work from home and office time.
- This role may require some national and international travel.
Security Clearance
- Must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance.
- Prior SECRET (NV1) clearance is preferred but not required.
