The Role

As an Investment Associate, you will play a key role in evaluating, executing, and managing investment opportunities. Reporting to the Investment Director, you'll work on high-impact deals that shape the future of Australia's energy landscape.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional passionate about renewables and infrastructure. You will perform detailed financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence for prospective investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse market trends, regulatory frameworks, and emerging technologies to identify risks and opportunities in Australia's energy sector.
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, delivering insights to optimise returns and manage risks.
  • Support transaction structuring, negotiation, and execution of acquisitions, divestments, and project financing.
About You

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or CFA designation is a bonus).
  • 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or a similar field, preferably in energy or infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Australia's renewable energy market, including the Renewable Energy Target (RET) and National Electricity Market (NEM), is highly regarded.
  • A deep understanding of infrastructure investment, renewable energy markets, and financing structures. End-to-end of project lifecycle (raising funds through to asset sell) highly desirable.
