Trade Counter Sales Associate
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our Trade Counter team. As a Trade Counter Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing excellent service to plumbers and other tradespeople, helping them access the products they need for building and renovation projects.
You will be responsible for assisting customers with their queries, providing quotes, and undertaking various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing exceptional customer service and support
- Assisting customers with product information and quoting
- Picking and packing orders, maintaining shop floor displays, and ensuring accurate information is provided
- Using computer systems to manage sales and inventory
- Operating company vehicles for occasional deliveries
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A clean, valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends
