At KPMG Futures, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible with next-generation AI. As an AI Prototyping Engineer, you'll play a key role in bringing to life game-changing technologies and business models to accelerate a better future for our clients and KPMG.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop AI Prototypes Assist in driving the execution of a plan to explore, identify and test hypotheses using next-gen AI to help create new businesses. Contribute to appropriate tech stack decisions for development, and develop on a cloud platform like Microsoft Azure or work with tech startups to support the execution of these hypotheses through development of prototypes and POCs.
  • Develop a Roadmap for Next-Gen AI Familiarise yourself with future tech, new tech tools and domain expertise to understand emerging AI capability. Be curious about how the tech works algorithmically and what would be required for implementation. Assist in identifying where and how future tech and new tech tools can create new opportunities for the firm and our clients.
  • Work with Stakeholders Keep stakeholders up to date with progress and challenges, ensuring they understand the risks as well as the opportunities. Work with stakeholders to understand the business context around the prototype and POC you develop and clearly articulate their required support for successful completion.
  • Build Credibility in Future Tech Assist engagement with tech and research industry to build knowledge, relationships and establish the firm as a Future Tech leader.

Requirements
  • Prior experience working within next-gen AI as a Machine Learning Engineer, Data Engineer, or Software Developer.
  • Experience designing, creating and orchestrating end-to-end data pipelines on a cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python, Java and C++, coupled with the ability to leverage SDKs and APIs to bring the best of tech all together.
  • Comfortable working with various development environments such as cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure) or third parties (tech start-ups) to choose and use the appropriate services to create end-to-end data pipelines.
