Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Valuations to lead our team in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the financial health of our business, driving business development activities, and ensuring the quality and compliance of our work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage and ensure the financial health of the business through experienced budgeting, achieving budgeted revenue and profit, valuer productivity targets, and day-to-day workflow management.
  • Business Development: Manage and drive business development activities within the team and key external stakeholder relationships.
  • Tender Management: Respond to tender opportunities and manage quotes.
  • Quality and Compliance: Responsible for quality and compliance for all work leaving the Egan team, as well as HR, PI, and WH&S requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Day-to-day leadership of all ACT team members.
  • Senior Leadership: Be part of the senior leadership team of Egan National Valuers.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree qualified and supported by a certified practicing valuer (CPV) qualification.
  • Leadership Experience: Leadership experience preferred.
  • Financial Management Skills: Sound financial management skills.
  • Tender Writing Skills: Excellent tender writing skills matched with strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
