Warehouse Material Handler Position

The primary role of this position is to operate forklifts and other machinery in a safe and efficient manner to transport goods and materials throughout the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forklift Operations: Safely operate various types of forklifts to move goods and materials within the warehouse, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping: Regularly inspect and maintain forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition, as well as perform housekeeping tasks to keep the warehouse organized and clutter-free.
  • Task Administration: Assist with administering tasks such as transferring pallets to racking, trucks, and storage areas, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to all established safety protocols and regulations when operating equipment, moving goods, and interacting with colleagues.

In order to be successful in this role, candidates should have prior experience operating heavy machinery, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Forklift License: Possess a valid forklift license and be able to operate different types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Prior Experience: Have previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, preferably with forklift operation.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices: Be committed to following good manufacturing practices and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
