Quality Assurance Specialist Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our Governance Team.

This role is responsible for ensuring production quality meets specifications while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiency. You will be hands-on in quality testing, troubleshooting, and supporting production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine quality testing on materials and finished products
  • Calibrate and maintain lab equipment
  • Identify and manage non-conforming products, ensuring corrective action is taken
  • Perform packaging material quality checks
  • Carry out line audits and process control monitoring
  • Participate in problem-solving initiatives and improvement projects
  • Support compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations
  • Utilize SAP, Harford, and quality management systems

You will also have the opportunity to work with various analytical testing equipment and participate in ongoing work after your initial contract.

Requirements:

  • A Science or Food Technology qualification (or studying towards one)
  • Quality Control experience (ideally in food/beverage manufacturing)
  • Familiarity with analytical testing equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Micrsoft Office skills (Excel, Word)
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and quality systems
  • SAP experience - desirable
