Lead Geospatial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated geospatial analyst to lead the development of transparent methodologies for modelling threats.
This position involves managing research and production of national models of threats to biodiversity using developed approaches, working with experts to refine data and models.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in species modelling, particularly with invasive plants, animals and diseases, as well as strong understanding of ecology and interaction with Matters of National Environmental Significance.
Key responsibilities include developing scripts for analytics, modelling and/or visualisation purposes to deliver insights, and providing authoritative representation and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
The role requires high level of conceptual and analytical skills, including assessing complex environmental data and developing innovative technical approaches to improve environmental data production and tools.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will have opportunities to collaborate with partners from various disciplines and backgrounds.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
