We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager in the Thoracic Procedural Suite. This is a part-time position working 16 hours per week, with the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide nursing services within the Technical / procedural Suites setting and the Recovery area. They will be responsible for developing from novice practitioners to a proficient level of professional practice, consolidating knowledge and skills, and developing in capability through continuous professional development and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Thoracic Procedural Suite and Recovery area
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective care
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current practicing certificate
- Experience in Endoscopic nursing or a willingness to learn
