Key Responsibilities- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people to develop to their full potential
- Support the goals established in the child or young person's Individual Care Plan
- Monitor and report health issues for each child or young person
- Provide age-appropriate care to children and young people
- Assist children and young people to connect with their culture or religion
- Work collaboratively with schools to identify barriers to positive engagement in education
- Participate in social and recreational activities with children and young people
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly in therapeutic environments
- Located within the Great Southern region
- A positive, resilient attitude and a commitment to making a difference
- A relevant diploma qualification or equivalent experience
- A valid driver's license and willingness to work a week-on, week-off roster
- An enriching and supportive team culture that values diversity and inclusion
- Opportunities to use your communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a wide range of people
- A role within a multidisciplinary team where collaboration is key
- As well as your off swings, you will receive an additional 2.5 weeks annual leave per year of service
