The role involves managing and mentoring a team of advocates, representing the organisation in key forums, and contributing to policy-making processes in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement government relations strategies aligned with organisational priorities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government representatives, Ministers' offices, and key stakeholders
  • Influence policy through submissions, consultations, and strategic advice
  • Manage and mentor a team of advocates to achieve organisational goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, combined with significant experience in government relations, public affairs, or a related area
  • Strong understanding of the political landscape, legislative processes, and policy-making frameworks in WA
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the organisation in diverse forums
