About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Specialist to provide expert guidance on securing applications, APIs, middleware, and development pipelines. This individual will be instrumental in shaping secure architecture practices across code repositories and project activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure solutions that adhere to industry standards.
  • Provide timely and informed advice on application security best practices, ensuring seamless integration throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain secure coding guidelines and standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Support and lead penetration testing activities, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
About You
  • A seasoned professional with a strong background in application and product security, possessing excellent technical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and/or 5+ years of experience in software development with demonstrated expertise in application security.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in modern architectures such as microservices, single-page applications, and serverless environments.
