Veterinary Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Director to join our team at Greencross South Tamworth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high standards of veterinary care.

• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to our veterinary team
• Diagnose, treat, and manage complex medical and surgical cases
• Mentor and support junior veterinarians and nursing staff
• Work closely with our experienced veterinary team to share knowledge and best practices
• Handle a diverse caseload, from routine consultations to complex medical and surgical cases
• Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring they are fully informed about treatment options and care plans

• A Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards' Council (AVBC) or completion of NAVLE, AVE, or equivalent examinations
• A minimum of 4 years of post-graduate clinical experience, with demonstrated leadership abilities and management skills
• Strong communication skills, with a desire to mentor junior staff and provide excellent client care
• Confidence in consulting, diagnosing, and treating companion animals independently
