About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HSSE Advisor to join our team at UGL. As an HSSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of health, safety, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental Management Plans.
  • Conduct regular HSS reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain HSS and ER aspects of Project HSE Management Plans.
  • Participate in HSS and ER risk management workshops.
  • Support project contract owners in meeting HSS requirements.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to support HSS and ER requirements.
  • Facilitate HSS and ER assurance activities, including audits.
  • Assist with hazard and incident management and reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver HSS and ER training sessions.
  • Monitor decommissioning and project operations for compliance.
  • Provide HSS site representation as required.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in safety, health, or related fields.
  • 7-10 years' experience in offshore oil/gas, major projects, FPSO, construction, decommissioning, or installation.
  • Knowledge of HSS management systems and WA safety case regimes.
  • Familiar with Commonwealth, State, and Territory HSE legislation.
  • Experience in auditing, investigations, and incident management.
  • Causal Analysis Investigation Training (e.g., TapRoot).
  • Internal/External Auditor training.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Certifications: TBOSIET, CAEBS, MISC
