About the Role

This position is ideal for an ambitious and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support, including monthly billing, electronic document management, and expense reconciliation;
  • New file management, adhering to firm policies and procedures;
  • Brief preparation, basic court document drafting, and lodging documents with the relevant authorities;
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and participate in team meetings, social gatherings, and development sessions;
  • Issuing documents via our secure platform;
  • Collaborate with the Legal Assistant team and broader office staff.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Prior experience as a legal assistant within the relevant area of law;
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Proactive time management and effective deadline prioritisation;
  • A collaborative spirit, working well with your team and other legal assistants across the firm;
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in software applications.
