The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a practitioner with 4 - 7 years of post-qualification experience to join our busy team which provides solutions to complex commercial and insolvency related matters. We have opportunities for Graduate to Senior Associate level positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of your own files with support and supervision
- Communicating with clients and relevant stakeholders
- Conducting legal research and analysis on relevant legal issues
- Drafting correspondence, court documents and deeds relating to various commercial matters
- Preparing for and attending court appearances and hearings
- Negotiating settlements
Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in private practice and be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience in commercial litigation
- Highly developed legal and problem-solving skills
- A proactive, innovative and energetic approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An innate ability to work as part of a team
Candidates with a clear passion in commercial litigation and/or insolvency, and evidence of transferrable skills, will be considered.
