Logistics Coordinator Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work within our planning team, developing and presenting forward plans for the Transport Execution Team.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator who will use our Rostering and Scheduling tool to plan 28 Days in advance for Drivers, Trucks and Assets. As a Junior, you will be supporting Transport Planners with Day-to-Day tasks as well as having your own Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Responsibilities

  1. Complete Critical Risk Assessments
  2. Work with the team to keep the Planning Roster up to date with new drivers and roster changes
  3. Provide Plans to the Execution Team including all relevant information
  4. Complete Daily Combined Handovers
  5. Continually update Plan with Business-Critical changes from contract coordinator areas
  6. Work with North and Southwest Planners, as well as Southbound tracking
  7. Provide most accurate driver trip plans to reduce time spent in the yard
