Job Role Overview:

As a Telemarketer/Appointment Setter, you will be responsible for identifying key decision-makers, conducting market research, and setting qualified appointments for our Business Development and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct in-depth research to identify potential clients exhibiting at key trade shows and expos.
  2. Build and maintain lists of prospects using online directories, show exhibitor lists, and LinkedIn.
  3. Make outbound calls and send personalized emails to introduce our services.
  4. Qualify leads based on criteria provided by the Sales team.
  5. Book appointments with decision-makers and update CRM with accurate lead data.
  6. Follow up on cold and warm leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  7. Collaborate with the Head of Lead Generation and Marketing team to align messaging.
  8. Track performance and report on key metrics weekly (calls made, appointments booked, etc.).
Key Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience in telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting, or lead generation (B2B preferred).
  2. Excellent research skills – able to independently source leads and verify information.
  3. Strong communication skills – clear, engaging, and persuasive.
  4. Highly organized with great attention to detail.
  5. Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or similar).
  6. Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  7. Experience in the exhibitions/events/marketing industry is a plus, but not required.
