Job Role Overview:As a Telemarketer/Appointment Setter, you will be responsible for identifying key decision-makers, conducting market research, and setting qualified appointments for our Business Development and Sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth research to identify potential clients exhibiting at key trade shows and expos.
- Build and maintain lists of prospects using online directories, show exhibitor lists, and LinkedIn.
- Make outbound calls and send personalized emails to introduce our services.
- Qualify leads based on criteria provided by the Sales team.
- Book appointments with decision-makers and update CRM with accurate lead data.
- Follow up on cold and warm leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with the Head of Lead Generation and Marketing team to align messaging.
- Track performance and report on key metrics weekly (calls made, appointments booked, etc.).
- Proven experience in telemarketing, cold calling, appointment setting, or lead generation (B2B preferred).
- Excellent research skills – able to independently source leads and verify information.
- Strong communication skills – clear, engaging, and persuasive.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
- Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot or similar).
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Experience in the exhibitions/events/marketing industry is a plus, but not required.
