Operations Officer/Forklift Operator Job Opportunity

Job Overview

This is a highly sought-after role in our operations team where you will be responsible for asset management and ensuring the safe movement of assets. As an Operations Officer/Forklift Operator, your duties will include booking in assets, conducting daily prestart checks, loading and unloading trucks efficiently, and assisting with auction preparation.

Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all relevant WHS policies and procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and good attention to detail. You must have a valid manual driver's licence, a current forklift licence, and possess excellent customer service skills.

About The Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Book in assets using the auction system
  • Locate, move, and record asset movements using a forklift
  • Conduct daily prestart checks and weekly maintenance checks on forklifts
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently
  • Assist with auction preparation

Requirements:

  • A current, valid manual driver's licence
  • A current, valid forklift licence
  • HR licence desirable but not essential
  • The ability to use an iPad
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines
  • Good organisational skills
