About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Human Resources team as a Business Partner. You will be responsible for providing strategic HR advice and support to our business units, driving business outcomes through effective people management.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Strategy & Planning: Contribute to the development of our organisational and business unit-specific people plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • HR Consulting: Provide expert advice, guidance, and counselling on employee relations matters, including EEO, grievances, mediation, and performance/conduct disciplinary matters.
  • Workforce Planning & Recruitment: Support the business with advice relating to organisation design and structural changes, developing project and change implementation plans.
  • Learning and Development: Coordinate L&D programs to meet current and future employee needs, achieving organisational objectives in line with our HR strategy.
  • Remuneration Management: Coordinate annual performance appraisal processes and performance management systems for allocated business areas.
  • WHS and Workers Compensation: Provide guidance and advice on WHS and risk management, assisting with return-to-work coordination, injury management, and administration for all incidents and WC claims reported.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A degree qualification in Human Resources/IR or Commerce, Economics degree or similar with a HR/IR major.
  • Experience: Proven HR generalist experience across the breadth of the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, remuneration management, performance management, recruitment, and learning and development.
  • Skills: Contemporary knowledge of HR issues and best practice, current knowledge of IR/ER framework and legislation, experience within the Community and Disability Services industry.
