Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic professional to provide emotional support and companionship to our clients.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building trust-based relationships with your clients, supporting them in achieving their goals, and providing a listening ear when needed.
You should have experience in complex mental health and be able to engage socially with your clients, encouraging them to participate in activities and daily routines.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm and composed demeanor
- Reliability and consistency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Support clients in achieving their goals and developing life skills
- Engage in social activities with clients, such as music or fun events
- Assist clients with daily routines and tasks
Requirements
- Work Rights in Australia (permanent resident or citizen)
- Yellow card or NDIS Worker Screening check
- Current driver's licence, own transport, and comprehensive car insurance
