Join a team of exercise specialists as an Exercise Physiologist in West Melbourne. This role is dedicated to safely prescribing and supervising exercise and strength training for clients with diverse health and medical needs, including those impacted by chronic disease and injury rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver exercise programs aimed at prevention and recovery to enhance overall health and long-term wellbeing.
  • Conduct physiological assessments (body composition, blood pressure, oxygen saturation) and prescribe exercise for group or individual sessions.
  • Use objective measures, including strength testing and patient-reported outcomes, to guide clinical decisions.
  • Establish relationships with local healthcare professionals.
  • Manage and build a caseload of individual and group sessions.
  • Consistently deliver high-quality service in accordance with professional standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or experienced Exercise Physiologist who is passionate about client outcomes and believes in the benefits of strength training for long-term prevention.

Required Qualifications

Must have:

  • A recognised Bachelor or Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology Degree.
  • Current registration with the relevant governing body.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Active and current Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • A Working with Children Check.

Desirable qualifications include 1-2 years relevant work experience and previous private practice experience.
