Key Responsibilities:
As a Laboratory Technician at Boral, you will undertake sampling of construction materials, prepare test samples, test and physically analyze these samples, report test results, and maintain records.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions, and manuals.
- Perform prescribed calibrations and checks of laboratory test equipment.
- Maintain, observe, and participate in the statutory Safety requirements of the Laboratory.
- Maintain the Laboratory NATA accreditation requirements.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Section Head.
Requirements:
- A commitment to Safety and Quality.
- Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and a customer focus.
