About this Role

You will provide critical support to the Purchasing Manager in day-to-day operations, receiving and processing goods, handling invoice queries, and contributing to team success.

As a Goods Receipt Officer, you will deliver exceptional customer service when receiving delivered goods. You will inspect goods for quantity, quality, expiry, type, and price, and then issue them to the correct departments and store all items according to requirements.

  • A good understanding of Receiving and/or Store Management principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • A strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
  • The flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends

Critical Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unload, and process deliveries and verify incoming freight based on invoices and receiving reports.
  • Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs.
  • Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure accurate counts.
  • Secure merchandise storage areas.
  • Maintain the integrity of the receiving room and its contents.
