Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Asset Manager to lead the development and maintenance of our Asset Management Frameworks, Strategic Asset Management Plans, and Annual Asset Management Plans.


This role will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and success of our asset portfolio, ensuring alignment with the strategic vision and contributing to Mater's sustainable growth and development.


The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, construction management, or asset management, and will meet the below criteria:



  • Demonstrated industry experience in strategic asset management
  • Previous experience in a hospital or live operating environment
  • Demonstrated success in delivering asset management within a large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to effectively prioritise workloads within competing demands
  • Previous experience with building construction projects
  • High level of communication and negotiation skills
