About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our operations team at Stratco, a leading Australian manufacturer and marketer of quality building and renovation solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling products for our trade and retail customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture goods to customer specifications
  • Interpret technical product drawings and specifications
  • Operate plant and mobile equipment, including overhead cranes
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
Requirements
  • Essential: 2+ years of experience in a production environment
  • Essential: AQF Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication)
  • Essential: Welding experience of mild steel and galvanized products
  • Commitment to producing quality products
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Sound awareness of safety standards
