Bluefin Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Data Collection Management Team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing our organisation's data strategy.

Role Summary

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for administering the collection and collation of information in accordance with industry reporting frameworks, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery to staff and stakeholders. Key accountabilities include:

  • Ensuring financial institutions meet their reporting obligations;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to establish data standards at the point of collection;
  • Identifying and mitigating data quality issues through effective monitoring and analysis;
  • Contributing to the development of actions to address data collection challenges;
  • Assisting in the transition of new data collection systems;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and external clients;
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations governing data collection;
  • Knowledge of industry trends and regulatory developments;
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills;
  • Experience in designing and implementing efficient operational processes;
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field;
  • Strong self-organisation and analytical skills;
Benefits and Opportunities

This 6-month contract offers the opportunity to work on a meaningful project with a dedicated team. You will contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives and have the potential for further extensions. The role is hybrid, with 3 days on-site in Sydney CBD and 2 days working from home.

The estimated salary for this position is $800-$900 per day, including superannuation.
