Role Description

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our organisation through the management of a portfolio of rehabilitation cases. You will work within our Best Practice Rehabilitation Framework to develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs that promote sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic advice on rehabilitation matters to support claims teams in delivering exceptional results
  • Contribute to best practice wellbeing initiatives and projects across the business
  • Develop partnerships with stakeholders and internal resources to drive business growth
  • Offer technical support to claims teams and participate in case conferences
  • Coach and develop claims teams on rehabilitation practices
  • Recommend assessments to identify customer needs and develop tailored rehabilitation plans
  • Deliver training and presentations to internal and external audiences
Requirements
  • A background in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling, Physiotherapy, Injury Management or Registered Nursing
  • Experience working within a Rehabilitation provider, clinical and/or claims environment
  • Ability to develop and implement rehabilitation programs aligned with our Best Practice Rehabilitation Framework
  • Subject matter expertise in occupational rehabilitation including employability
  • Commercial understanding of claims management models and practices
