Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake general day-to-day maintenance activities to a high standard, adhering to established plans and guidelines.
  • Ensure all emergency, preventative, and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate contractors working on site as required.
  • Manage the smooth operation of maintenance requirements at the facility.
  • Provide IT support as needed within the high-spec facility.

About You

  • Prior experience in gardening and maintenance is essential.
  • Aged care or similar facility experience is highly desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of facility services, including gas, water, and power mains, and isolation requirements.
  • Familiarity and practice within a strict code of WHS requirements.
  • You will need to be a self-starter with excellent time management skills to prioritize tight work schedules.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and continuously improve maintenance operations.
  • Work autonomously as well as a member of the team and have a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and friendly manner.
  • Positive 'can do' attitude ensures success in this role.
