Lead Beverage Team Member

The key responsibility of this position is to oversee the daily operations of a bar, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and effective staff management.

Daily Tasks
  • Ensure all beverages served meet quality standards and are presented in a timely manner
  • Provide a warm welcome to guests, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience
  • Verify time sheets upon completion of shift, confirming accuracy and completeness
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for guests, addressing concerns and providing local knowledge when necessary, and escalating issues to management when required
  • Stay informed about daily events and activities
  • Assist colleagues as needed, taking on additional responsibilities to support the team
  • Conduct thorough shift handovers and ensure the bar is closed properly
  • Maximize revenue through promotions, upselling, and colleague training
  • Foster a culture of excellence by coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance
Requirements
  • Effective communication skills, enabling guests to express concerns and compliments easily
  • Problem-solving abilities that turn issues into opportunities, ensuring guests leave with positive memories
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a leading capacity
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, overnights, and holidays
