Infrastructure Program Director

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Program Director to join our team in Adelaide, Australia.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position within KBR's Infrastructure Solutions Australia business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex infrastructure projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timely, within-budget, and safe execution of capital programs and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide technical advice and guidance to construction and project teams on enabling works requirements, civil works, mechanical & electrical works, and commissioning/handover process.
  • To ensure all quality requirements of projects are carried out by contractors in accordance with technical specifications and relevant technical Australian standards and guidelines.
  • To manage complex technical evaluations and develop facility and asset performance management protocols for outcome and benefit realisation.
  • To work closely with Senior Project Managers to ensure project risks and opportunities are identified and assessed, and necessary actions are taken.
  • To review project activities against schedule and report progress on a weekly basis to Senior Project Managers.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or relevant equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of construction, health, safety, and environmental practices, standards, and quality assurance methods.
  • Technical understanding of water, wastewater, and recycled water treatment, disinfection, and distribution system facilities, assets, and infrastructure throughout the design, operations, and maintenance lifecycle.
  • Ability to use and develop computer applications including project scheduling, spreadsheets, and analytics.
