Nurse Unit Manager - Community Health

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead and inspire our team in delivering exceptional cardiac and respiratory care to the community.

In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to improve patient outcomes and contribute to the development of healthcare practices across various settings.

You will oversee clinical practices, guide less experienced staff, and drive better care in the community. With a focus on advancing community health, you will have the opportunity to lead initiatives, manage portfolios that align with your professional growth, and make a meaningful impact on diabetes care within the region.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Holds a current practicing certificate.
  • At least 3 years post-registration experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring less experienced staff.
