This is an exciting opportunity to join our Product, Pricing and Portfolio Management team as a Commercial Actuary for Investments. As a key member of our Retirement pricing team, you will be involved in the design and pricing of new retirement products.
Your main responsibilities will include understanding commercial drivers of the Investments business unit, contributing to long-term business plans, and providing analysis of business impacts of product and pricing changes.
You will work with various stakeholders to implement product, pricing and system changes to simplify our product portfolio. This includes supporting the implementation of product and system changes to accommodate regulatory change.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with life investment and retirement products such as annuities is desirable.
In this role, you will also be responsible for conducting analysis of longevity experience, calculation of net payments due to clients and reinsurers, and completing analysis of profit.
