The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a full-time Warehouse Officer to join our Housing team. Based in Perth, this role focuses on warehousing, quality control, and logistics operations to ensure goods are efficiently and effectively received and sent to the Lands while meeting job timelines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Warehousing: Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring safe and compliant storage, accurate packaging, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for accuracy and condition, track delivery discrepancies, and ensure quality packaging to prevent damage in transit.
- Logistics: Track shipments, plan loads efficiently, liaise with transport (NATS) to prioritize orders, manage documentation, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
- General Duties: Collect supplies from stores, ensure proper labeling and packaging, maintain safety compliance, and perform additional tasks as required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a valid C class Drivers License, Senior First Aid Certificate, strong organisational and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, physical capability for warehouse tasks and product handling, effective communication and teamwork skills. A Certificate in Warehousing or previous warehousing experience would be viewed favorably but is not an essential requirement for this role.
