About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead treasury and accounts receivable operations for a full-time position based in Fremantle, WA.

This role will oversee day-to-day treasury and cash management functions while leading a team of finance professionals.

Key responsibilities include daily cash monitoring, forecasting and reporting to management, leading and mentoring the AR team, preparing weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and ledger closures, managing AR performance metrics including debtor days, dispute resolution, and bad debt write-offs, driving system and process improvements in AR and treasury functions, and ensuring compliance with audit, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily cash monitoring, forecasting and reporting to management
  • Leading and mentoring the AR team
  • Preparing weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts and variance analysis
  • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and ledger closures
  • Managing AR performance metrics including debtor days, dispute resolution, and bad debt write-offs
  • Driving system and process improvements in AR and treasury functions
  • Ensuring compliance with audit, safety, and regulatory requirements

Skillset and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification with 5+ years experience in a similar role, strong skills in treasury management, forecasting, and cashflow reporting, proven leadership experience with small finance teams, high accuracy in financial data, reconciliations, and reporting, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a strong understanding of AR best practices and credit control.
