Job Description

Role Overview

In this critical role, you will oversee and drive direct sales efforts into a set of high-profile Government Accounts and strategic Partners. Your focus will be to create and execute strategic account plans centered on attaining agency-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. Develop key relationships with executive-level buyers and influencers, leveraging these during the sales process. Collaborate with internal teams to generate and deliver winning Contract Bids, Proposals, RFI/RFP Responses, and Statements of Work. Negotiate terms of business with clients to achieve mutually beneficial results, providing a solid foundation for long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify Defence and Government business opportunities and manage the sales process through to closure of the sale.
  • Achieve agreed quarterly sales targets.
  • Establish a sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and accurately forecast pipeline.
  • Sell Fortinet's comprehensive security portfolio and maintain relationships with all levels of management across an allocated set of agencies.
  • Responsible for expanding Fortinet's presence in the assigned agencies and ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with extended Fortinet teams and work independently to accomplish required tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience selling to Public Sector agencies.
  • Minimum 3 years selling network cyber security products and services.
  • Proven ability to sell solutions to Public Sector (defence and intelligence) agencies.
  • A proven track record of quota achievement and demonstrated career stability.
  • Experience in closing large contracts over 1 million USD.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills to executives & individual stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated, independent thinker capable of moving deals through the sales cycle.
  • Candidate must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Competitive, self-starter, hunter-type mentality.
  • BS or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
  • Baseline security clearance required.
