Key Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Lineworker to join our team, responsible for ensuring a safe and reliable electricity supply to our community by constructing and maintaining transmission and distribution networks.

Your Key Accountabilities

  • Construct and maintain the transmission and/or distribution electricity network in a team environment, ensuring the integrity of the network is maintained safely, reliably, and affordably.
  • Rectify faults promptly and isolate the network for repairs.
  • Execute programmed construction and maintenance work to ensure safe operation.
  • Deal with day-to-day technical issues relating to design and construction.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Required Certificates: Certificate III in ESI - Power System Distribution Overhead or New Zealand Electricity Supply (Distribution) Minimum Level 4, Valid WA 'HR' Class Drivers Licence, demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity network, HOU and LOU Switching highly regarded but not essential.
