Job Summary

Catholic Education Western Australia is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our team. As a Teacher Assistant, you will work under the guidance of the classroom teacher to support the teaching and learning of students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering planned education programs and creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with families, local community stakeholders, and other networks.
  • Show initiative, work independently, and contribute actively to a dynamic team environment.
  • Participate in Co-curricular activities and support the Catholic ethos and traditions of the College.
  • Maintain a high standard of confidentiality and be a competent user of basic IT.

Selection Criteria

  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Initiative and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Competency in basic IT and ability to maintain confidentiality.
