Expert Cultural Heritage Advisors Wanted

High-level guidance on Cultural Heritage issues is required to support Roadworks Programs.
Mandatory Experience- At least two years' experience in green or brownfield infrastructure construction projects using Cultural Heritage management processes is necessary.
- Experience working directly or indirectly on Australian Road Authorities projects, including Queensland Roads Infrastructure Projects, is a must.
- Liaising and consulting with stakeholders to build effective relationships is key.
- Delivering guidance on Cultural Heritage issues and providing planning, design, and construction advice is essential.
- Conducting desktop and field data collection, collation, and analysis is a core responsibility.
- Preparing reports and planning, conducting, and closing out field audits is a critical task.
- A degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Social Science, Cultural Heritage Management, Architecture, or an equivalent qualification is required.
- A current car driver's licence is a necessity.
- Membership of a related professional body is desirable but not essential.
The role is based in Cairns, Queensland. Preference will be given to individuals already living in Cairns or willing to relocate there.
