Opportunity for a Gastroenterologist

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team on a Full Time basis. The ideal candidate must either hold registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Gastroenterologist or be a General Physician with substantial experience and interest in Gastroenterology.

About the Facility

Our client's health service operates across two facilities, a 600 bed teaching hospital and major trauma centre for ACT and Southern NSW, and a second 250+ bed hospital providing acute and sub acute services to the ACT and SE NSW. The health service has strong ties with several universities, and the preferred applicant may also be considered for conjoint appointment with ANU. The service provides diabetes care and treatment across the continuum for adults, including women during pregnancy, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

Requirements
  • Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Gastroenterology
  • On RACP training program
  • Hold the FRACP
  • IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
  • IMG's with RACP interview date
  • IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.
