We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer to join our Private Equity team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions and collaborate with our global offices.
Key Responsibilities- Work across a range of corporate transactions, including private M&A, private equity investments, and exits.
- Support senior associates and partners on transactions, including drafting and negotiating documents and leading due diligence workstreams.
- Project manage transactions to ensure key deadlines are met and deliverables are anticipated.
- Manage and build client relationships, including assisting with business development activities, events, and marketing.
- Advise on corporate law, including securities disclosure exemptions and employee equity.
- Tertiary qualifications in law and an unrestricted Australian or New Zealand practicing certificate.
- Quality experience as a solicitor in a corporate or other transactional practice.
- A desire and energy to contribute to a high-performing team and be stretched and challenged.
- A curiosity about our clients and eagerness to build relationships to support the growth and reputation of the practice.
- An ability to adapt to competing demands, work through technical challenges, and stay calm under pressure.
